Nutrition Facts:
Typically, there are about 2 calories per 8 fluid ounces of coffee.
No sugar or sweeteners are added to any of our coffees.
We use natural and artificial flavors in our flavored coffee blends. For our organic flavored coffee blends, we use natural flavors only. The natural flavors that we use adhere to and comply with government guidelines – no chemicals, preservatives, additives, genetic modifications or ionizing radiations. Our natural flavors are essential oils or essences, which contain the flavoring ingredients that are derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material. The primary function of these flavors for our coffee blends is flavoring versus nutritional purposes.
All of our products are gluten free with no grain-related ingredients.
There are no chemicals or solvents used in our San Francisco Bay Coffee decaf process – just water! We use the Swiss Water® Process, which is a very delicate process that is used to safely decaffeinate the beans while preserving the coffee’s inherent quality, characteristics and taste.
Composting:
Our OneCUP™ pods are BPI® certified compostable in a commercial or industrial composting facility. As not all composting facilities are considered commercial/industrial, please contact your local composting facility to confirm that they accept BPI certified materials. For a list of composters in your area, please visit www.FindAComposter.com.

Our pods our BPI® certified commercially compostable, which means they can be composted at an industrial composting facility. However, we are actively working on our home compostable certification, so stay tuned!
Our OneCUP™ pods are made entirely of plant-based, sustainable, compostable materials. All materials that can be molded by the application of heat are technically plastic, but we use only renewable plastics and do not use any petrochemical plastics.
Yes, the bag is also BPI® certified commercially compostable.
Commercially compostable means that with the right balance of heat, moisture and oxygen, plant-based materials will safely break down and can be used to nourish the earth. The necessary balance is assured at commercial or industrial composting facilities.
Commercially compostable products require a commercial/industrial composting facility for breakdown, whereas home compostable products will appropriately degrade in your home compost pile.
Our pods are made entirely of cellulose (paper/fiber/tree materials) and plant-based resources such as canola seeds, cornstarch, cassava, sugar cane, beets, etc.
Yes, our pods are BPI® certified compostable in an industrial composting facility.
