Yes! Coffee contains antioxidants that protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Drinking 2-5 cups of coffee daily reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, endometrial and liver cancers, depression, and Parkinson's disease.

Coffee beans are roasted to various degrees to shape the flavor and caffeine levels of the beans. We use a wide range including light, medium-light, medium, medium-dark, dark, and extra-dark.

A lighter roast coffee, like our Breakfast Blend, contains the most caffeine. Every 8 ounces of brewed coffee contain about 150 mg of caffeine. To put this into perspective, a dark roast like our French Roast contains the least caffeine at 90 mg per 8 ounces of brewed coffee.

To discover the right coffee products for you, consider trying one of our Variety Pack OneCUP™ Pods. We offer different sets so that customers can experience our best sellers, distinct assortments, dark roast selections, medium roast selections, and flavored medleys.

While the smoothness of coffee depends largely upon individual taste, medium roast beans are generally considered the smoothest and most balanced beans. Medium roast coffee is roasted just long enough to develop complex and rich flavors but not so long that smoky and roasty notes dominate the other qualities. Medium roast coffee beans retain some sweetness and acidity and balance the body and flavor.

Whole bean and ground coffee both offer distinct benefits. Which one you choose depends upon your preferences and equipment. Whole bean coffee is appreciated for its freshness, aroma, and ability to control the grind size. Ground coffee is valued for convenience, consistency, and lower equipment needs.
