The people at Planetary Design deserve several medals for this concept. There is nothing to compare to the "whoosh" of fresh coffee bean fragrance that accompanies my opening of the canister each morning. Only the first sip of coffee from those beautifully preserved beans comes even close. I immediately threw away the two canisters with their fussy little seals that I had been, unhappily, using. Who wants coffee made from gray, dry beans when you can buy a canister that keeps beans black and strong, that is easy to use, AND that holds a full 2 pounds of beans. Viva la innovacion!

I've been using an Airscape canister for years, and when I open a bag of SF Bay coffee I immediately put it in the canister. It's very convenient and it works great to help keep the coffee from oxidizing. When I started mixing 100% Columbian 50/50 with Moka Java I found myself in need of another canister. I snapped one up at SF Bay Coffee, largely because it had the logo printed on it. My old one doesn't have the logo, so this way I can instantly tell the difference between the two. I really like these canisters and with a modicum of care you can expect them to last a very long time. Thumbs up!

I have been using a canister with the CO2 release valve to keep my coffee fresh and I was hoping to find something just a bit better. This is it! I like the double seal and especially the inner seal with the handle that actually pushes the air out then locks the handle down. There is some work involved to pull it out when opening, however this is more proof to me that the seal is tight! Plus it's recommended By SFBC and they absolutely want their coffee to remain fresh as long as possible to keep customers happy with their product! A great investment for great coffee!
