Pumpkin Pie Latte

 

Want to make the perfect hot or cold Pumpkin Pie Latte? We’re here to help with this recipe from our food scientist, Katie Rosenberg. This recipe is made from scratch and a perfect use for any extra pumpkin filling you have leftover from making pumpkin pies. 

Adding spice to pumpkin pie latte syrup.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cold brew (we used our French Roast)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 3/4 cups milk 

Instructions:

Step 1: Combine 1/2 cup of brewed coffee and 1 cup of brown sugar. Let sugar dissolve over low-medium heat.

Step 2: Add 1 cup of pumpkin puree and 1 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice to simple syrup and let the sauce heat slowly for 5 to 10 minutes over low-medium heat.

Step 3: Turn off heat and add in 1 1/4 cups milk.

Assembling a Hot Drink:

Step 1: Combine the following ingredients in your favorite mug:
• 1 shot espresso
• 1/4 cup sauce
• 1/2 cup milk

Step 2: Top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie seasoning.

Assembling a Cold Drink:

Step 1: Combine the following ingredients in your favorite mug:
• 8 ounces cold brew (we used our French Roast)
• 1/2 cup sauce (let cool completely)
• 1/2 cup milk

    Step 2: Top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie seasoning.
