We combine the complexities of wine and the nuances of fine single origin coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia to create a unique balance of flavor and aroma.
We take unroasted coffee beans and store them for weeks in oak casks formerly used to age wine. The beans which become infused with the subtle aromatics of wine are then expertly roasted in small batches. This process creates a truly special coffee balanced with a hint of wine, jasmine and raspberry.
Carefully tended and expertly harvested & processed, this coffee is grown on small farms in the Yirgacheffe Region of Ethiopia and barrel-aged in oak casks.
