Overview:

The Inventory Control Specialist Supports the IC Lead Specialist in maintaining efficient and accurate inventory management procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes Inventory on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to maintain goals throughout the company.
  • Daily reconciliation on Production Floor of packaging inventory.
  • Responsible as required; to physically count Production Floor to ensure accuracy of on hand quantities and adjust inventory balances as required.
  • Reconciles inventories between Solo and Navision records and makes adjustments when necessary.
  • Researches inventory variances and fixes variances within approved dollar limits. Look for patterns of errors and recommend and execute process fixes..
  • Ensures all activities are completed daily for accurate inventory records.
  • Participates in annual physical inventories.
  • Monitor inventory levels to identify need for replenishment at or within prescribed levels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Overview:

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation and monitoring of the equipment to ensure proper function throughout the production process. Machine Operators will also test and measure products to ensure they meet work order specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operation of production machinery.
  • Responsible for changeovers and/or machine setups, film threading and splicing, forming tube installation and adjustment, conveyor bucket change-over, Tin tie threading and folding adjustment, tape/label reload, UPC printer positioning and program editing, scale calibration, top seal bar removal and installation, photo eye adjustment and programming, and valve installation mechanism adjustments.
  • Assure proper weights are maintained by doing scale checks on bags every half hour and that the packaging is properly assembled and sealed. Conduct bubble checks on bags every half hour.
  • Keep accurate counts of units produced and materials used.
  • Keep area neat and orderly at all times, including the work bench and storage cabinets.
  • Assure that packing material required for the day’s production is present in sufficient quantity.
  • Monitor inventory levels of critical items and alert the Production Manager if there is a problem.
  • Report discrepancies in type or quality of coffee delivered to the packaging line.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedule and repairs.
  • Coordinate all shutdowns and turnarounds, including emergency maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Logistics management: Ensures that the machinery and equipment have the ability to produce goods at an acceptable standard per customer requirements. The operations manager also coordinates with quality personnel to ensure that the goods meet an acceptable standard and generates positive feedback from clients. The manager interacts with employees, prepares reports on the current condition of logistics, and is always working on the next course of action.
  • Budget management: Obtains the requirements for logistics and coordinates with the finance department to attain the necessary approvals.

  • Track and post FG as material is brought by for them to confirm count.
  • Brings inventory accuracy and wastage issues to the IC Specialist.
  • Calculates items produced, beginning-ending work order quantities, validates raw material consumption, wastage and post W/O.
  • Coordinates with the Production Operators their beginning and ending inventories. Works with the Production Operators to resolve issues and discrepancies to close W/O accurately.
  • Prints, organizes and maintains any documents pertaining to W/O and inventory records.
  • Troubleshoots any inventory discrepancies, and or production reporting errors.
  • Reports to the IC Specialist items that exceed consumption and wastage parameters.
  • Maybe required to perform cycle counts on occasion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview:

Our large-scale Roaster Operators are responsible for producing coffee roasts according to each work order. The Roaster Operators are expected to produce roasted coffee, but also take part in quality checks and improvements, maintenance and be part of the broader coffee production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of green coffee for roasting.
  • Transfer, via forklift, green coffee from the inventory area to the roasting/dumping area.
  • Dump coffee into appropriate dump station, as required.
  • Stack and tie down green coffee sacks for disposal.
  • See that the chaff collection drum is emptied as required by roasting operations.
  • Responsible for overall operation and maintenance of the roasters.
  • Maintain an accurate database and production information for use with the computerized control system.
  • Maintain an ongoing fire watch while the roaster(s) is (are) in operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of what types and amounts of coffees are used for daily production and according to work orders.
  • Complete all logs/forms/check lists (required at the beginning, during and end of shift).
  • Work with the QC Team to make sure that product meets quality standards.
  • Keep the Roaster, Green Coffee, and Dump Station areas clean at all times.
  • Execute instructions or special assignments given by Production Supervisor.
  • Work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and manufacturing/company procedures.
  • Operate the Grinder when required.
  • Must be flexible & have the ability to work overtime and weekends
